This impressive fountain of 1856 is located at the entrance of the village on the side of the road.
It has a three-centered arch. It is equipped with a sedimentation tank that supplies the fountain, completed with two benches and flanked with a basin forming a trough for animals. Famous for its fresh water, acqua fresca, the inhabitants went there regularly to get their water with their ciarette (water jugs).
The fountain of love left its mark on several minds because it was a place conducive to encounters and where the gentlemen of long ago flirted with the young ladies who had come to fill their water jugs.
This fountain is located on the road to Oletta that goes to the Saint François convent.
Formerly, it was a drinking water mains inlet used by all of the inhabitants, then it was replaced by a fountain.
Dated between the XIX th and XX th centuries, it is vaulted with a lowered arch, located on the edge of the road at the hamlet Fossi. It has a sedimentation tank supplying the fountain, completed with two benches.
This fountain is located in the Romanacce hamlet and has witnessed many events. It was the only source of water for its inhabitants. Old and young regularly went there to get water for washing themselves, refreshing themselves, cooking…
Long ago this fountain was just a water main and was used to clean the public toilets. Today it is a meeting place where people young and old can gather together.
