The organization of this event since 2016 has been very beneficial to the territory.  It introduces authors, editors and their products and promotes through various means of communication (the press, social media, radios etc…) the population’s participation.

This event encourages access to reading and arouses the public’s interest in reading through its different aspects.  That is to say, as a pastime, as an efficient means of information, education and a cultural benefit at all levels. It also emphasizes national publications, but also and above all regional ones to introduce authors and editors.  In this way, it presents the publications of all kinds dealing with different subjects to the population, by purchases or consultations.

La Mostra teatrale di pieve (the administrative region’s theatrical exhibition) is a theatre festival dedicated to young people. Every summer, in the villages of the Nebbiu region, including Oletta, it proposes texts from its repertoire and creations for a family-oriented public, all in an entertaining and sharing atmosphere.

On June 28, 2015 the first trail run of Oletta took place with 180 participants.  Since then, about a hundred runners participate in this annual trail sponsored by the Montalti association and helped by Oletta’s Municipality.  Although it is called a short trail, 11 kilometers, the difficulty is present anyway because the runners have to travel along no less than 700 meters of elevation gain in a mountain type trail.  Oletta’s trail run also helps associations.  Indeed, in 2019, the children’s trail run of 1.5 kilometers was for the ECLA association and the 7-kilometer walk was for the Paul Mathieu-Mattei association. 

During each season and throughout the year, Oletta makes you vibrate with its eventful concerts through their diversity and quality.
