AN OPTIMIZED EDUCATION SYSTEM
In order to accompany the students in a coherent learning approach, numerous tools have been set up, whether it is for infrastructure or new technologies or bilingualism.
A large public uses these facilities, especially the school’s students who are learning about new communication technologies.
The school has become a bilingual site thus allowing the children of Oletta to learn Corsican and to participate in its survival and recognition. A positive point of learning, in its globality, according to numerous studies carried out by professionals of multilinguism and interculturality.
The school also received the Ecoscola Label which accompanies teachers to train students on the theme of sorting and waste prevention to enable them to acquire an eco-responsible behavior.
The school cafeteria is open at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and privileges a local distribution network. It offers its students food from local producers of which the greater part come from organic agriculture.
Daycare
The structure “Casa di Rosa” was set up in September 2006 and accommodates children from Oletta and the surrounding areas. It offers parents an appropriate means of care, a continuity in the child’s affective life, but not only that!
Entrusting your child to “Casa di Rosa” is signing him/her up in an instructive and educational project with a dynamic team whose objective is to make the children more independent, take part in a group and in that way, prepare for school.
Since December 2015 the structure has engaged in ecological actions in a concern for a greater respect of your child and of our planet: everything that was disposable: diapers, aprons, gloves, shoe coverings were replaced by “all washable”. We have had the label “eco-daycare” since January 2018. The daycare also furnishes meals for children who are there all day long (Baby-Bio) and also morning snacks (applesauce, cakes/cookies).
Workshops, educational games, early learning activities are proposed to the children every day under the watchful eye and participation of the assistants. The choice of activities is well thought out and organized according to their age and level of progress.
Each child develops at his/her own pace in the deepest respect for his/her personality. The adult’s look is very structuring for him/her and the team is very attentive to having a balance in his/her progress.

The multimedia access Point is now called the Digital Public Space of Oletta. It is located in the heart of the village, next to the post office, school and City Hall. It is a structure with free entry and has a library and a multimedia space with 11 computers.
The Digital Public Space has obtained at the end of 2021 the Label "Maison France Services", allowing two animators to accompany users in their administrative procedures online on the site of many partners (Health Insurance, MSA, CAF, Pension Insurance, Pole Emploi, La Poste, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior).
Throughout the year, the Digital Public Space of Oletta offers various workshops including computer workshops (e-administration workshop, CV and cover letter workshop, e-commerce workshop, learning new software...etc.) as well as free internet access.
An educational project of Oletta’s school in partnership with the Digital Public Space was set up so that the children could have access to a computerized space and a library which also allows them to put work carried out in class when they work on different projects on line.

Since the students have returned to school after All Saints holiday, all the classrooms in the Paul Peretti school group, the school cafeteria, the public digital space and the town’s daycare have been equipped with CO² sensors by the community.
This equipment enables us to measure the air quality in real time in the areas where our children are present and take the necessary steps if needed.
