School Cafeteria Dominique Tusoli

Dominique Tusoli began his professional life as a farmworker until he left for his military service in 1957. He studied in Béziers and was sent to Algeria to the 67th Artillery Regiment firing a machine gun of a hunting commando. Full of courage and self-control, he distinguished himself on April 4, 1959 in Douar Saraf, was nominated to the order of the regiment and received the cross of military merit with a bronze star.
He came back to Oletta for a while before leaving for Marseille to enter into National Education (1961) at Saint Exupéry high school. He rose through the ranks, passing several competitive exams to be a cook and finished his career as a master chef. He was transferred to Arles and then to Lucciana middle school in 1987 where he stayed until he retired on October 1st 1997. Dominique Tusoli was a municipal councilor from 1995 until his death and especially contributed to the creation of the Oletta school cafeteria.
