A child of Oletta, Jean Baptiste Pelloni enlisted in the French Navy for 5 years.

He then entered the police force where he climbed the ladder to finish Chief Warrant Officer and head of Borgo’s Brigade.   At the end of his career, he worked as an accountant in a construction company in the region of Bastia.  Jean Baptiste Pelloni was a deputy mayor from 1995 to 1996 when he passed away.
